Why It's Important
We need better solutions to support the critical network of aging-focused organizations.
In this decade, for the first time, there will be more people ages 65 and older than there are children younger than age 18, with 11,200 Americans turning age 65 each day. We each play a role in fostering healthy, interconnected and purposeful aging, and that role is now more critical than ever.
The On Aging Institute is here to help you succeed and thrive during this demographic shift through new, innovative education and collaborative resources that promote equity, resilience and excellence across sectors.
New Offerings
The On Aging Institute brings together experts from diverse fields, leveraging ASA’s convening expertise and equity-focused design methodologies. The curriculum is designed to sharpen your expertise, promote sustainable practices, and inspire innovative solutions.
Content from the On Aging Institute is available year-round, with new offerings introduced regularly. We are launching new courses, and providing timely and relevant content to support your ongoing professional development.
On Aging Institute Support
The On Aging Institute soft-launched in August 2024, with the support and commitment of nearly $1 million from Next50 over the Institute’s first three years. The Institute will continue to evolve over a multi-year development process, starting with a library of programming focused on leading with equity and building capacity among aging services organizations, informed by close collaboration with Colorado-based entities. ASA thanks Next50 for their support as a founding partner!
